As the owner of M.A.T Tennis Coaching I been involved in coaching since 16 years old becoming full time for the last 10 years. In 2014 I completed my ITF level 1 Junior Development Coaching Course. I have coached Otago Junior Representative teams over the last 5 years, presenting me the opportunity to coach the Southern Under 12’s which competed at Nationals in April 2021 & 2022.

When starting out my coaching career I wanted to make a difference within the region. Over the years my focus has been developing grass roots within clubs while also working with aspiring juniors. Part of this is supporting athletes through tournaments and working on goals to help them achieve greater success.

The best part of coaching is watching players learn and develop on and off court, while being able to inspire the next generation to develop the love for the game.
